How long does the insurance process take?

The insurance process typically takes 2–6 weeks, depending on your carrier and how quickly they respond. Here’s a simple breakdown of what to expect:

Inspection & Filing the Claim (1–3 days)
Once we inspect the roof and confirm storm damage, the claim is filed immediately. Some carriers schedule the adjuster inspection within a day or two—others take a bit longer.

Insurance Adjuster Appointment (3–10 days)
The insurance company sends an adjuster to verify the damage. We meet them onsite to make sure nothing is overlooked and missing items on your estimate back from your insurance carrier.

Approval & Initial Payment (1–2 weeks)
After the adjuster visit, the carrier reviews everything and issues an approval. The first payment (ACV) usually arrives around this time.

Production & Material Ordering (3–7 days)
Once approved, we order materials and schedule your installation date. Most roofs are completed in 1 day.

Final Inspection & Release of Depreciation (1–3 weeks)
After work is complete, we send all documentation back to the carrier so they can release the final payment (recoverable depreciation).
